SATURDAY SHELL BEACH REPORT. We made a two man run and with very windy weather and extremely low tides we decided to concentrate on the shallow bayous around the marshes. Titelining Hybred magic minnows and smoke curley tails while moving along over oyster beds with the Minn Kota we started picking up trout at a slow but steady pace. The tide was falling at a good clip and although the water was stained the visability was about two feet. We stuck with it and waited for the tide to switch and when it started to come in the catching picked up for about a solid hour and that was all we needed as we filled our limits and caught and released about twenty more including two redfish. February fishing can be a challenge so you have to pick and choose your days to fish, even though it's a perfect day weatherwise it can be a bad day for fishing. Some of the worst days produce the most fish in the winter, it's just not always comfortable to fish in. "Good luck"
