Honestly I haven't spent all morning looking for free e-magazines on the 'Net, even though it might seem that way. In fact it was meant to be planning a trip to Isla Holbox on Mexico's Yucatan for Tarpon when I got .... sidetracked.
Anyway this one - http://www.flylife.com.au/emag/default.htm - albeit a trifle frustrating to navigate around contained some interesting articles for those planning a trip 'down under', to the Antipodes. There're currently only two editions on-line - Autumn and Winter 2010 - but in my opinion well worth looking through. The ones on LAND OF KINGS - jumping ship on a Tahitiian island and CAPE YORK ROAD TRIP - an epic northern DIY adventure in the Autumn edition were particularly interesting. REAL adventure fishing!

Um ... still haven't worked out why they refer to their seasons in that way? I thought, South of the Equator, seasons were reversed.
