Hi Dave,
many thanks for sharing this nice and interesting Report with us. Some weeks ago I tried to find a good charter in Italy. The most Websites are in Italian and so it´s difficult to get the informations I need. I´m very impressed about the Leerfish! Wonderful creatures. The very best wishes,

Hi Diana,
thank you very much for the informations and your posting. Yes it sounds great and the offers of your Company (Fishing, Yoga, Surfing and so on) are really interesting. Can you give us some more informations around fishing at Fuerte Ventura? What is the main target species, best time and so on?
The very best wishes,

News from Game Fishing Madeira!
From Dave...(Panama Jack)Chris Flower, our Club Secretary/Treasurer has just returned from Madeira. Whilst never what could be considered a prolific Blue Marlin fishery Chris had the two strikes in six days; one came ‘unstuck’ after a few minutes with the other failing to hook-up. Both however were good fish, with one easily 700lbs plus.
He did however release six White Marlin - a couple decent sized - together with Dorado and some Skipjack.

Dr. Bruce Collette and Dr. John Graves are producing a book for Johns Hopkins Press – Tunas and billfishes of the world with the aid of renown illustrator, Val Kells. Val has completed paintings of all but 4 of the 61 species of tunas and billfishes. However, they are missing photographs of the following fish.
Orcynopsis unicolor. Plain Bonito. Mediterranean and North Africa.
Scomberomorus koreanus. Korean Seerfish. Continental Indo-West Pacific from the Sea of Japan and China south to Singapore and Sumatra and west to Bombay.
Scomberomorus lineolatus. Streaked Seerfish. Indo-West Pacific from Bombay, India along the coast to the Gulf of Thailand and Java.
Scomberomorus multiradiatus. Papuan Seerfish. Gulf of Papua off the mouth of the Fly River.
Any help that you can provide will be greatly appreciated and acknowledged in their book.
Thanks,
