"If there are no Marlin in Heaven, I don't want to go."
GIANT BLUE Campbell... if I recall correctly... said that.
My commiserations go tho his family. May he rest in peace.
The Blue Marlin Pope himself!
Hello Cor,
thats are sad bad News.
I meet Steward some Times at the great Days for Marlinfishing of Madaira. At this Time he do all for his great Goal,
to become all Line Class Men World Records for Atlantic Blue Marlins. He nearly fullfilled his Dream.
I see him one Time on his CUNDA, the small, old, powerless Men, catch a Blue Marlin over 900 lbs. in not even 15 Minutes.
This was a Demonstration of using Heavy Tackle (130lbs.) and let look it very easy. After this i know again how far away i was
from the World Class Anglers, he was the best i ever seen !
At this Time the Boat CUNDA, Steward and his Crew with the Best of the Bests was the No. 1 Big Marlin catching Machine on the Planet.
Codolences to the Whole Family.
Reinhold
Certainly one of big game angling's greats who'll be sadly missed. There's a brief obituary of Stewart here - http://obits.victoriaadvocate.…l&pid=144504685&fhid=6290
