There're a few more images of the fish on this thread - http://www.sportfishermen.com/…der-80182.html#post553191. Amazing that it was caught on what presumably is a small (jet) lure coupled with a 'tiny' 9/0 (Roddy) Hays hook. Just goes to demonstrate that 'elephants do eat peanuts'.
A wonderful fish. Congratulations to chip van Mol. The lure-size is a really interesting question. I know from some grander who could be caught on "small" lures during trolling from smaller species. Once more we can see "the size is often not important".
