Fishing Cabo San Lucas

Hi guys,

Stephan fished in Cabo San Lucas some weeks ago and can present a very, very impressive result . The report you can read on his homepage Bluewaterfishing.eu.
It´s a very worthful report with a lot of advices and informations. The second part will be ready soon.

Well, he fished some days on the boat of elbudster.

For all who want to get actual informations this thread is for. I will post the reports of elbudster.

Report: The World Famous EL BUDSTER went fishing today. But did not catch any fish. They looked for the YELLOWFIN TUNA but were unable to locate them. There are still a lot of STRIPED MARLIN moving around Cabo. Better luck tomorrow.

Report: Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Robert Euker party from Halifax, PA catches and releases a 120 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught on a live Pacific Mackerel and takes 45 minutes to get to the boat. On the EL BUDSTER II. The Ryan Taberner party from Fairless Hill, PA catches and releases two ( 135 & 145 lbs. ) . Both were caught on live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting times were 35 & 45 minutes. All the marlin were caught at the Golden Gate Reef. The water temp. was 78 - 79 degrees.

12/17/2008:
Report: Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Randy Davis party from Aspen, CO catches and releases three STRIPED MARLIN ( 120 - 120 - 130 lbs. ) All were caught on live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting times were 30 -35 - 45 minutes. They also caught a 20 & 25 lb. DORADO. All the fish were caught at the Golden Gate Reef. The water temp. was 78 - 79 degrees.

12/18/2008:
Report: Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Larry Peterson party from San Diego, CA catches eight DORADOS ( 20 -25 - 30 lbs.) On the EL BUDSTER II. The William Crane party from Phoenix , AZ catches twelve DORADOS ( 20- 25 - 30 lbs.) They were all caught while trolling small feathers or using live Pacific Mackerel. All the DORADOS were caught 2 - 3 miles out from the Los Cabos Arches. The water temp. was 78 - 79 degrees.

12/19/2008:
Report: Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Jason Everett party from Kennewick, WA has an EXCELLENT DAY . They catch and release four STRIPED MARLIN ( 100 - 100 - 105 - 130 lbs. ) . They were all caught on live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting times were all between 35 - 45 minutes. All the fish were caught 16 - 18 miles out of Cabo. The water temp. was 77 - 78 degrees

12/20/2008:
Report: Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Thomas King party from Longboat Key, FL has a fine day. They catch & release three STRIPED MARLIN ( 110 -115 - 130 lbs. ) All three are caught on live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting times were all between 35 - 45 minutes. They also released a 20 lb. DORADO. Fishing on the EL BUDSTER II. Larry Foster from Redondo Beach, CA catches two 25 lb. DORADOS. All the fish were caught 16 - 18 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 77 - 78 degrees.

Report: Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Joyce Keller party from Fayetteville, AR catches and releases two STRIPED MARLIN ( 100 & 120 lbs. ) Both fish were caught on live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting times were 40 & 45 minutes. On the EL BUDSTER II. The Phil Grafft party from Iamoille, NV also catches two STRIPED MARLIN ( 105 & 120 lbs. ). Both were caught on live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting times were 35 & 40 minutes. All the fish were caught 16 - 18 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 77 - 78 degrees.

12/22/2008:
Report: Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Clark Jenner party from Willistom, ND catches and releasesa 120 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught on a live Pacific Mackerel and takes 25 minutes to get to the boat. They also catch a 25 lb. DORADO. The fish were caught 14 - 16 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 77- 78 degrees.

Report: Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Tommy Blackstone party from Salt Lake City, UT catches six DORADO ( 20 to 25 lbs. ) They fished about 3 - 4 miles out from the Cabo Arches. The water temp. was 76 - 77 degrees.

Report: Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. David Miller from Westchester, CA catches and releases a 130 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It was caught while trolling a red & black lure. The fighting time was 45 minutes. He also catches two 25 lb. DORADO. All the fish were caught at the Lighthouse Reef. The water temp. was 77 - 78 degrees.

Report: Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. Ben Hoffman from St. Louis, MO catches and releases a 130 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught on a live Pacific Mackerel and takes 50 minutes to get to the boat. He also catches a 25 lb. DORADO. Both fish were caught 10 -12 miles straight out from Cabo. The water temp. was 76 - 78 degrees.

The fighting time was 20 minutes. They also catch seven DORADOS ( 20 - 25 lbs. ). All the fish were caught 10 - 12 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 74 - 75 degrees.

Report: Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. Todd McKinney from El Segundo, CA catches a 25 lb. YELLOWFIN TUNA. On the EL BUDSTER II. The John Tibbs party from Seattle, WA catch three YELLOWFIN TUNA ( 25 - 30 lb. ). Both boats see a lot of tuna. They just are not able to get them to bite. The tuna they see, jumping out of the water.Range in size from 20 - 100 lbs. All the tuna were caught 18 - 20 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 74 - 75 degrees.
