One year ago on Nooraanee2

Hello to all forumer ! This is my trip to maldives onboard Nooraanee last year ago. Really hope i can go to maldives again for next fishing safari.

Arrive at Male International Airport

Around 10.00 pm (local maldives time) we arrived in the Maldives Male Airport. We are facing some difficulties with the Maldives Immigrations keep asking us what hotel where we were going to stay. We explain that we want to take a boat to fishing & we were not staying at the hotel but the Immigrations not allowed us to pass security check point. Until a representative of the craft Nooraanee 2 arrive & explain to them then we were allowed to go out from immigration door and collected the goods. Then we boarded a boat watertaxi to us who will take a berth. Approximately half an hour later we arrived at the boat. Crew boats unload our luggage into the boat. After storing our luggage in the room, we also serve with a welcome drinks.

After we finished getting prepare our equipment it's time to get some rest for a big battle tomorrow.

Day 1

We got up early morning from our bed. 1st boat captain Ibrahim had been arrived at the boat. We talked about our trips who would be confronted. Ibrahim suggested that we sail to the northern part of Maldives because of the relatively strong winds on southern maldives during the whole trip. While heading to our first spot who served with breakfast. We are quite odd because we have been never entertained by the waiter and in a boat.

Day 2

The second day atmosphere morning was awakened by Rambo. He gets up quite early was jigging alone. A bit violent strikes reply received by Rambo. Nearly 45 minute fighting the fish the mainline giving away. According to information given by Ibrahim area who we anchored for the night is often visited by big dogtooth

A pair of tenryu deep raider with accurate sr12 & 60lb mainline cannot stand the pressure from the monster.

After breakfast we were taken by Ibrahim heading to one jigging spot.It's a quite satisfactory results even though we were jigging jigging about 2 hours because the wind does not permit us. The boat drifted a bit faster than jigging spot due to fairly strong wind.

Afetr Finished eating we started popping. Popping at the time of this session was very encouraging. Kikilala successfully landed the biggest GT in this trip. This makes us more excited for looking "monster-monster in the Maldives" Some cases of mainline break, owner strong 4x & 5x treble hook bend like needle.

Day 3

The third day was somewhat less in favor for us. undulating waves with a relatively strong even though we were sailing in the Atoll for jigging & popping. Results jigging am a bit less than yesterday. For security reasons Ibrahaim suggested to us that the landing on the island. Among the results jigging

Ibraham given the command "stop" we sailed into the island of Kadavu. It's ok because we all can go for sight seeing of the village & buy little gifts.

After four days were in the boat Nuraanee2, our trip coming to an end. All was sad & reluctant to leave the boat with a nice crew on Nooraanee 2. Some of us is also eager to add one more day to fish. Hahaha ...
